West Elm is a big name in modern home design, and for good reason. Born in the design-loving neighborhood of Dumbo, Brooklyn, West Elm stores have popped up across the US. Chances are you’ve come across their drool-worthy catalogs and stunning website.
They’re now the hip younger sibling of the international home design giants, which means that West Elm still remembers their shop small roots. They recently launched the West Elm Local initiative, where each West Elm location selects hand-made products from local artists to carry in their shop.
When West Elm came to Connecticut, they found us! We’re so excited to be part of West Elm Shops local. While we’ve been carried in the Westport location for a few months now, there’s a newly opened West Elm in Blue Back Square in West Hartford. The West Hartford Center store carries a selection of Hartford Prints! products, like cards, art prints, totes, and our famous Small State, Great Beer pint glasses. They also carry the same soaps we have in our shop- The Nutmeg Collective’s very own Treefort Naturals! You can also find rope masterpieces by our friends at Mystic Knotwork.
At some point in December, we’ll be in WEWH for a special holiday pop-up, so stay tuned for details!
