As our incredible Farm to Street Dinner draws ever closer, we’re beginning to wonder- what should we make for the main course? While the appetizers and desserts are being provided by the fabulous folks over at On20, this is a community picnic, after all, so that means bringing your own main course. And since we’ll be with our favorite friends and neighbors, we’ve got to make sure that we bring something extra-delicious!
Luckily for us, the ladies of Whisk & Brush know a thing or two about creating great dishes that wow. This week we’ll be posting a few recipes from their kitchen to help get everyone dreaming big about their own BYOD (that’s Bring Your Own Dinner!) preparations. We’re starting off with Caribbean Coleslaw!
Featuring fresh mangoes, sriracha, and hot peppers, this slaw is sweet and spicy. Drool over the photos below, then head to the Whisk & Brush blog to get the full recipe!
Savoy and green cabbage, red onions, mango, and hot peppers.
Slice those bad boys up!
Add in your home-made dressing.
And mix together!
